Impact Tiling is a locally owned and operated New Zealand company, founded by Robbie and Rachael Le Normand around 20 years ago.

Meet some of the Management Team

Robbie Le Normand

Director 

Robbie is a Director of Impact Tiling, which he founded with his wife Rachael in 2004. As a BCITO Qualified Tiler, Robbie has a great understanding of the trade and what his clients’ needs are. Known for his up-front, pragmatic approach, Robbie takes a lead on business development and driving the business’ strategic plan forward. As well as overseeing the day to day operations of the company, Robbie is responsible for expanding the Impact Franchise Network. He enjoys working with people and is passionate about developing new business relationships. Prior to tiling, Robbie worked as a panel beater for 10 years, and holds a trade certificate in the trade. In his spare time, Robbie lives an active life, riding dirt bikes and mountain bikes. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, making the most of the outdoors as a family.

Rachael Le Normand

Director 

Rachael is a Director of Impact Tiling along with her husband Robbie, launching the company in 2004. Prior to that she worked as a Travel Agent, in Real Estate Marketing and Accounts, so has extensive experience running the backend of the office. Known for her quick decision making and pragmatic approach, Rachael oversees the financial management and marketing of the business. As a mum to 3 children, in her spare time Rachael enjoys family time, managing the couple’s 40-acre farm, riding horses and gardening.

Paul Le Normand

Supervisor

Paul is a Supervisor for Impact Tiling, working with us since January 2008. He is responsible for project management of our commercial site projects, staff training, quality control and problem solving. He enjoys the fast pace and dealing with the challenges of running live sites. He is an NZQA qualified tiler, holds an Ardex Sika Davco waterproofing certificate, site safe and first aid certification. Previously, Paul has worked as a tiler, taught English as a foreign language in Spain, and been a sales manager for Environmental Expert. Outside of work, Paul plays rugby, is VP of the Waikato Mustang Club, and enjoys spending time with family, taking his girls to their sports events, riding dirt bikes, car shows and building RC cars.

Clive Sinclair

Operations Manager 

Clive is Impact Tiling’s Operations Manager, responsible for managing our installation team and overseeing operations. He joined Impact Tiling in winter 2021, coming from a background in hospitality management with Restaurant Brands. Clive is great with people and has an eye for detail, making him highly qualified for the role. He is extremely experienced managing teams, health and safety, finances, training, franchise management, general operations, operational support, recruitment, prevention auditing, human resources and operational execution. He has also worked as a compliance specialist travelling throughout New Zealand and areas within Australia.

Grant Le Normand

Warmup / PAVEEZZI / Laminam Sales Rep

Grant is a sales rep and qualified installer of the Warmup underfloor product suite, including under tile, under carpet and shower / wetrooms. He is also the sales rep for PAVEEZZI and Laminam products. Grant started at Impact Tiling in 2018, and loves that the job is forever progressing, taking him around the country on different jobs. He also appreciates the support from working in a family-owned business, and getting to meet new people. Previously, Grant worked in apparel sales / merchandising for more than 10 years. In his spare time, he likes to skate board and do motorcross. He's also a bit of a cook, and previously had a food truck called Citrus and Honey which he describes as an amazing experience.

Ivan Lin

Commercial QS

Ivan is a Commercial Quantity Surveyor and has extensive experience as a QS and Project Manager. Is is very knowledgable and is responsible for estimating our commercial tiling projects.  

Katie Le Normand

Estimator 

Katie is a Residential Estimator, joining the team in 2020. She has a variety of experience across New Zealand and the UK, working in sales and merchandising, quoting and design consultation, staff training, marketing, residential care and childcare. Katie's key responsibilities include measuring and quoting for residential projects, and enjoys working with her 3 brothers in the business. In her spare time, Katie loves spending quality time with her daughter, family and friends. She is very family-orientated, outgoing and social. Katie takes huge pride in her work and is proud to be part of the Impact Team, supporting growth in her brother Robbie's business.
